Biography

Ankita Sharma was born on 7 February 1987, in New Delhi and alater moved to Mumbai for her acting career. She has received a good acceptance for her roles in various fiction shows. Before steping into acting field, she has worked as an employee for Infosys Technology Solutions in Pune. In 2008, she has received a Visharad Degree for her lessons in Dance and Choreography in Delhi. She was never into the acting zone, untill one day she received her first call from Sagar Picture for the movie 'Alah Udhal' where she played the role of a co-star.

Career

Ankita started her television career in 2009 with the character of Ratna Singh, in Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo on Zee TV and remained with it for 1 year upto 2010. Then came her popular role of Saachi in the serial - 'Baat Hamari Pakki Hai' along with co-star Barun Sobti in Sony TV. Her talent and fame rose higher and higher and in 2011 the serial was finally aired off. To promote the show, lead pair Ankita and Barun Sobti appeared in Sony TV's dance based reality show Boogie Woogie! on the 29th May 2010 and later the Indian Idol 5 Grand Finale on the 15th August 2010. She always possessed the dream of being a choreographer and music singer in her life and she is currently looking forward to it.
